BNSW Northern Country Talented Athletes Program - Selection Trials

TAP is a long-running junior development program for U13–U14 athletes who show potential to become performance athletes. Delivered as a 3-day development camp in August, TAP introduces players to Basketball NSW's principles of play, long-term development concepts, and the habits required to progress along the high-performance pathway.

Many current and former state and national athletes first experienced the performance environment through TAP, and it remains an important next step in the Basketball NSW pathway.

We have two quick questions for you:

1️⃣ Do you have a talented player born in 2013 or 2014 in your program?
If so, please encourage them to attend one of the official TAP trials. Athletes must attend a trial to be considered for selection. 

2️⃣ Do you know any coaches who'd like to participate in the trials?
We welcome coaches who are interested in being on the floor, supporting drills, and helping create a great trial environment. This is also a great opportunity to observe how the Basketball NSW performance pathway operates.

Athletes will be assessed by Basketball NSW Performance Pathway staff, who are responsible for identifying players with long-term potential.
